I begin to grow increasingly fond of being able to use/become what an enemy can use/is in a game - and, pertinent to this suggestion, vice-versa.

I endorse this, in part because it would be a chance to throw maxed-out characters off their feet and give them (us) a dose of their (our) own medicine. It would force us even with all our stats up to take caution, strategize, and mind our distance from these particular enemies.
