General rules for playing AEWVS properly:
- Take your time and figure out how things work.
- Know the controls.
(Yes, I literally put knowing the controls UNDER taking your time and experimenting. Since you can't access the tutorial anymore, you can just press Q while playing and look at the list.) - Be patient and don't give up like the rest of them. Even if you played at your best performance throughout, playing the game would take at least 3 hours. Which is lower than the average session time of MIX UP GAMERS, who streams this game. Obviously there's tons of fun to be had wasting time messing around with an alpha development game with so many features and such a community.
- Maybe don't use the shop. It's more rewarding, and personally I think less cheating and wasting time money-grinding to just figure things out and beat the levels properly. (Plus, you might really want that money later on...) You can purchase test maps for the kicks, but yeah. They might have spoilers.
Play in Lil Puss mode first to get an idea of the map. (You won't progress to the next level, but don't worry, you'll get an achievement.) To be honest, I was always lost in it while watching videos about it until I played the game myself.
