This is a really good take on the dying makes a platform variant of games. This one in fact being more interesting in my opinion. From the start I think that for your future project you should make sure to make your player controller as fun and satisfying to move around with as you can. Especially there was something wrong with the jump (reaaallly floaty). I think that your game idea  can be managed well even with a really high gravity enviroument so you would be fine. For the next jam i would really suggest to find a great color scheme on for e.x Adobe Color which is amazing for them. Color schemes can really help your game look good with little art knowledge/skill. Its all about the colors. There is also a really good sfx website that only requires a shoutout in the description but they give your game so much depth, check it out https://www.fesliyanstudios.com/sound-effects-search.php?q=woosh thats just the "woosh" sounds and the list is huge. Overall a good game, enjoyable experience although there is stuff that could be improved on for your next jam attempt. Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree the player is really floaty, that’s a mistake on my part. I focused mostly on things like jump buffer and coyote time and didn’t notice the floatiness until it was too late. And thx for the tool suggestions! These could really help me out in the future. Color scheme is something I should look over more, I always leave it to the side; Though, I agree with using it more. And thx for the SFX generator, I planned on adding SFX to the game but since we were busy at the start of the jam, me and my friend made this game in under 24 hours, so we didn’t really have time. Thanks for the detailed feedback. Most definitely I’ll consider it in future projects! And I’m glad you liked the game :D
