Starting with the good, it looks gorgeous, and i do like how the double jumps interacts with having a wall jump on small vertical walls.

Also, gotta love a leave behind lights on death mechanic (check out our game if you haven't already for a wildly different take on it 😉) But when you fall to your death, it doesn't give enough light to actually help with the platforming. We ended up tweaking it in our game to the point where deaths give out way more light than the actual player.

and ultimately I stopped playing at some point where I just couldn't figure out where to go, it was satisfying earlier to find out the routes and platform around, but the lights on death not giving any more information just made it feel hopeless.

Heya, agreed on all accounts, if this wasn't a game jam and there was actually time to playtest, all these things could have been changed in time...oh well :D Played your game before and absolutely loved it! Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated!
