By far the most beautiful game I have played this jam. Great art, story, everything. I maybe would suggest a different game to pong. It looks great, but when I played I just wanted to get the "game " finished to continue the story. Perhaps could even tweak the pong screen to be you aiming at pongo to catch, instead of trying to chuck the ball straight passed him. But besides that I do love this game.
Did you know you can move the pong paddle forward and backward? It makes the pong game much faster and very fun. We have had a ton of feedback on the main submission page regarding the pong game being extremely fun and a great twist to the original. The only negative is that you can hit the ball so hard it flies out of the boundaries and requires you to hit escape a few times to reset the ball and paddles.
I did find this mechanic, and don't get me wrong I do love this game. When playing it felt strange that I could move around and speed up the game, but poor Pongo was stuck to moving up and down. Maybe it isnt the case and I just got unlucky playing. I just understood it to simulate the player running around and trying to throw it pass Pongo kind of like you are battling against him. I fully understand I could misunderstand the whole scenario, and don't doubt the pong mechanic is fun in its own right.
