yes because of a massive variance in DPI with displays and some oddness with the way Unity picks resolutions, for the broadest possible compatibility and performance I forced the resolution to 720p the width varying depending on screen ratio.
This won't be the case with future builds, as I'll be doing a rework in settings.
The previous slider no longer worked when i moved to URP, so i need to work out how to use that again. Btu at the same time that slider affected render resolution not the actual game resolution.
