Thank you for sharing this. As someone with a similar shared-gaming history, it's so lovely to see it happen elsewhere, to other relationships, with other games (well, SOMETIMES other games. I guess the Stare one gets from one's partner when one voices one's desire to mayhaps start a new Dark Souls playthrough is a universal constant)
