I'm not sure, unfortunately. You can try rebooting your device and making sure no other programs are running when you play. Otherwise, you might just need a stronger device!
Something else that's a possibility, if you're on iOS, try updating to the latest. A while back, there was a bug with a certain version of iOS that would break the game!
