Its... weird, but I think this can work, this could be improved if you add some things.
-More growing phases that happens when you carry the little one to different sections of the game, or materials from one place to another, making it jump to avoid the oven may help to do so, a bigger one gives more energy and so.
-Make the oven to run out of energy faster on day 5-7
-More sound effects
