Jonas lays down at you feet

He pets him
He wags his tail and stands up as the mermaid jumps back into the water and leaves
Kaz: See? She's gone now...
he walks away and changes back “Eh, she was weird, she also tasted like dead fish-“
Kaz jumps a little
Kaz: AHHHH!
He laughs “I scared you?”
Kaz: I mean-yeah, you've been a dog for the last little bit, I was kind of used to that...
“Ah alright!” He changes back to a wolf and trots back over to Kaz
