Thanks for your bug report! We tried doing this, and it really replays the fade out animation again. But there's no permanent black screen, your bug is a permanent black screen or an additional fade out animation?
I just added a new patch trying to fix this. But I wasn't able to get this black screen yet. Will keep trying to improve the code so it doesn't happen tho.
