It is really nice to hear you so excited about making games! It is something I find extremely fun and rewarding, so it is nice to see others feel the same way ^_^
This gamejam is actually my very first time uploading one of my games to a public place, and I was really happy with how nice the community was. I was getting ready for super harsh and direct feedback, but everyone is super nice about it. I do know what you mean though, sometimes you want a bit more feedback than 'good job on your game'.
I also wanted to say that I also have a whole pile of games that have obvious flaws, but I just could not find the energy to fix them. I think that is totally fine! Especially when you are just starting out :) I also think that by making more games and letting others play them you can start understanding what people actually care about and what goes unnoticed. (Although I must confess that most of my games are hidden in my computer, not for anyone but me to play :p ) This is from a random person online with not too much experience in this field, so take it as you will ;)
