Super charming - lovely pixel art visuals, cute audio, and just a hint of humourous writing. Mechanic is simple, yet effective, and the level design is perfectly suited to explore it without overstaying its welcome. Reading through the description of your game, you took a lot of feedback to make the platforming fun and satisfying, and it shows!

My only complaint is that "up to jump" is a cardinal sin!

ooh thanks for all of this feedback i dont really get the last part tho can u explain?

So the jump button is "w" right? That's the up direction in the imaginary directional pad made by the WASD keys. Just makes it awkward, because you're using the same part of the keyboard (and the same muscle groups in your hand) to move, and to jump. In my case, I literally had both my hands crowded into the one spot on the keyboard, so I could use my left hand on A&D to move, and have my right hand on W to jump.

Ideally, to make the controls flow nicely, you'd use a different part of the keyboard (preferably accessible by your other hand) for jumping, so that you're not tripping over yourself every time you try and jump. It's also become common to use the space bar, since most games these days require the right hand to be on the mouse and using your left thumb is a different enough muscle group for you to be able to mentally separate the different actions.

Does that make sense? Sorry, didn't intend that to be a mini essay 😂

yes all of this makes sense now thanks for explaining xD yea i will use this part of the feedback in my other games but for this game i added also arrow keys so u could have had the right hand on the up arrow but yea i do notice games like celeste using space button again thanks!
