Cool game! Bit to psychedelic for me and the tutorial was too overbearing but behind that is a really good game! I really like the hyperwave/ neon color scheme though. :)

Here's a video that I found really useful. The simple version (and probably the easiest for game jams is to have the tutorial be in the background so players aren't ripped from the game. Hope this helps for your future projects :)
