Glad you're enjoying the game so far! To answer your questions:

1. There's going to be another small update in a week or so, replacing some placeholder UI elements (The ugly top-left stats readout) and fixing some bugs. After that, I'm packaging up the current content as the final demo for the game, and switching my focus to a full-game release on Steam in September(?).

2. Patrons are voting on this currently, with Ripley (Hotel pool otter) in the lead and Simon (Hotel receptionist) in close second. Most content added is going to be decided via Patron voting until the final release.

3. It's left kind of ambiguous on purpose, but expect it to get fleshed out more eventually.

4. Aside from WG routes, there'll be more lore stuff and end-game content like being able to replay dreams, endings, etc, that you've already unlocked.

5. Additional character weight levels is planned somewhere down the line, but I can't give an ETA on it just yet. Expect more scenes, variants, and sprites if/when that happens.

Hope that answers all of your questions! :)

"I'm here for food" increases your starting weight a little bit. If I remember correctly, it means you can start seeing higher weight variants of scenes a few days earlier than the other choices.

The finished game will be sold both here on Itch and on Steam. I'm uncomfortable pricing it before it's in a state I'm happy with, since there's still something like 9 months of development required to get everything finished and up to a decent level of quality.
