it's just me personally, but I'd rather have the mc to remain sprite less just so that i can shape the mc's appearance according to my imagination like the feeling we got when we read a novel and imagine the character's appearance based on the description, but felt a bit uneasy when seeing the character's actual appearance when the picture or movie adaptation is made. also it's save spots on the screen to see more of the hot guys. but then again this is my personal opinion and others might disagree so take it with a grain of salt
