I don't think I understand what you mean by "access the site through the app" because there's absolutely no way to manage collections in the desktop app. You can only view them. There's no way to add or remove items.

Also. There's no search or notification function on the forums, so I had to go through everything page by page to find this topic. There isn't even a "my topics" function.
