Gotta say, I'm on team original-Mason (MasonA) here. As nice as the second design is, I feel like MasonA is more distinct from the rest of the group, whereas MasonB feels like he's getting a bit close to our resident Empath, when all of the character designs are very different from each other so far. Plus, I can't think of many Furry VNs where you play as a labrador rather than a wolf/husky-esque canine, so variety is nice.
But, as I put in the survey, I'm not going to go and kick up a stink is we get MasonB as our new psychic MC. Will I be disapointed? Probably, but it'll just mean that I was in the minority and I'll gracefully accept the new Samoyed Overlord. Besides, he isn't exactly on screen a lot, so it's not like it'll be a constant reminder of what we lost.
