I'm considering discord, the problem is I don't know if I'd have the time to manage it *and* be social in it.
As for Patreon, it's been on my mind to set something up for the artists helping with all the amazing art. However if so, it'd be a thing without any benefits per se, and just there to give the artists a boost.
I'll think about both, and if so I'll end up launching something in time with the next update (which at this rate should be early January).
