Rain Connected to Extreme, Crippling, Gamebreaking Slowdown

I'm not entirely sure what any of this means, or why, but these errors are consistently generated during the rain, and the game slows down to such a degree that I have to close and re-open it if I want to play. It's crippling enough that I have wanted to restart saves just because I don't think I will reasonably get past the turns that the rain lasts (or else, suffer the rain yet again). It seems to get worse the more times it happens in a certain save, but I'm not entirely certain on that.

It happens consistently during rain, and ceases when the rain ends. Error logs below (some of them likely not actually related to the rain, but all included and unchanged in case it helps).

EDIT: Actually, this time it has completely bricked the save. I'm keeping it around in case it needs looking at, but it's completely unplayable.

Hey plaguevictim69, thanks for the report.

Slowdown issues may be a result of bugged AI stuck on some processing. Can you send me the save directory to support@wizardsofthecode.pro? It should be under C:/Users/{your user}/AppData/Roaming/WizardsOfTheCode/Soulash/saves

I would like to add that I convinced one of my close friends to buy the game, and it occurs similarly even on a much, much beefier PC than mine with wildly different specs, so it's very likely this is a common issue.

Thank you very much for prompt attention to it; it's been an inconvenience at best and run-killing at worst.

It turns out a chicken tried to get to a house but couldn't open the door, so it got stuck. ;)

I'm not sure why, but your save is corrupted, it doesn't look serious, only the "discovered world" directory seems to be missing. If you create an empty folder named "discovered_world" inside your save you should be able to play it again.

The rain issue is patched in v0.5.0.2.

Hey, I've just run into the issue slowing down another of my saves significantly in 5.0.1 (10-20 second halt between turns), so I'll be waiting for the patch and I'll see if I can confirm it fixes that one.

EDIT: Also, I'm not really sure why the discovered_world directory is missing, given that it's present in my zipped and unzipped versions. Maybe it got messed up somewhere in the decompression process.

Might be something on my end then. The patch is available, let me know of it helped.

Yep, saves with the bug are perfectly fine now! Thanks, Artur. I've been having a blast.
EDIT: About as soon as I said that, the same save ran into another crash bug. I sent you the zipped savefile. It's likely unrelated.

Thanks for the save file, I got it sorted. There was an issue with AI after it decided to drop the artifact bow to punch you :)

 I'll deploy the fix in 0.5.0.3 today.
