Thank you so much for the feedback! Our team really appreciates your honest response. We did want the physics to be almost frictionless, but that seems to be a common point of feedback across channels and we plan to address/tweak it a bit in a future build.
Also - you are right, you can edit that file to change your username on the leaderboard.
