So... any news on when we'll be able to get pets on a SAFE TO USE version of the game on PC? With the fact that Steam's been a health risk for over a year now, and with how often I've mentioned it in the comments (providing multiple reference links, here, have a new one https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/3/2962768084999962... ) you'd think someone might have noticed it's worth taking seriously.

steam is safe to use... the only way i can see steam having any health risks is through epilepsy, in that case they shouldnt be playing games in the first place as it is too risky for them.

Since the new library update, it's been causing issues for people who normally HAVEN'T had issues with prior versions of Steam, any other game launcher ever, and a variety of games. It's not just affecting people with epilepsy (which is a condition you're grossly misunderstanding and misrepresenting with that comment, btw), but migraines and vertigo, as well as some autistic spectrum users. It's been a problem for over a year, and the closest to an official response so far has been to make it worse by blocking access to the safe workarounds that used to exist. The link I posted earlier was a recent post by a Steam community moderator, but there are older topics about it too:
