A metroidvania using the mouse is a unique idea, but I don't really think the current mechanics justify its use when you could map its functions to a couple buttons on the keyboard instead. It would make more sense to use the mouse if the character's weapon required 360-degree aim, and a hammer is a confusing choice of weaponry in that regard.

Speaking of keyboard buttons, the keyboard controls are not very comfortable to use in conjunction with the mouse. I personally prefer the arrow keys to WASD, and while I'm glad the game gives me the option, I would like the functions of the W key to be mapped to the Up Arrow key as well.

Any other complaint I have would be nitpicking at this point. You have a decent foundation for a metroidvania here. It just needs a little fixing up. Keep at it!

That's good because I actually have mapped the controls to the arrow keys, and other buttons. I was going to have a mechanic called mecha mind waves where you click on things but I remapped that to the keys as well.

I Mapped everything to the arrow keys as well as WASD so that it fits everyone's playstyle. But I am not releasing a second Beta so you will have to wait for the full release :)
