Thanks for the reply. Your work is still outstanding even if Koenig’s quarters don’t get added. What you have already done is fantastic. Have you done any more to your Jupiter 2?

Hi Richard, I've done very little on the Jupiter 2 project. I've established some basic massing to get the scale of the thing and I've put that into Unity to see how it looks in VR but it's not much to look at so far. I don't know how clear it is in these wireframe overlays but with the help of some original set plans from the 1960s, I think I'll be able to get a pretty close match. The biggest problem is that there are subtle differences between the pilot episode, Season 1, and the latter seasons.

The bottom image is a model that I did years ago of the Robot. I placed him in a mockup of the flight deck which is not accurate at all and I did it in black and white because it felt like the right thing to do :-)

the amount of work on the Jupiter 2 looks amazing, it can’t be easy to work out all the details in something that constantly changes with each episode. But hope fully one day you may release a VR Jupiter 2. I for one look forward to that.

regards Richard

I don't know if you've come across the Lost in Space Forum but there is a guy who calls himself Avian who has done some amazing 3D models of the interior of the Jupiter 2: https://lostinspaceforum.proboards.com/thread/2376/jupiter-2-wallpapers I couldn't hope to match his quality of work but so far he hasn't experimented with Virtual Reality which is what I would really love to see from his models. Maybe we should petition him to give it a go :-)
