Our team was greatly inspired by Hollow Knight, and we were greatly mistaken on how difficult replicating similar player mechanics would be. Our original plan was to have 5 well designed levels, a boss battle, a short400 word story, a completely designed pause menu, item interaction, 3 types of enemies - ranged, light melee, and heavy hitter melee enemies, and more fluid player movements.
Unfortunately, due to the programming side of the team having exams during the week we had to fall back onto the minimum viable product. However, given one more day I think we would've shown a much better product than today.
