How hard would it be to add privately hosted server capabilities, possibly map options?

I run a Halloween/Macabre facebook group, and we've gotten obsessed with this game, but are also sad to see it only going to be lasting a few weeks. What' I'd love to do is to set up a server on my own server space for us to share our creations with eachother long term, maybe even making a few haunted house or graveyard maps.

Is there any plans for this, or something similar?  I'll be sad to see this go so soon after finding it.

I'm still not sure what my long term plans are. I'd love to re-open this each Halloween.

I may be able to share the server executable for private servers, but I'm still not sure if I should do that yet.

No  worries! It's yours to do with as you please! I'm just grateful this exists at all!

Eventually you could probably release this for a few bucks, and add DLC like different carving tools, stickers, props, paint, or flame color or something.  I feel like this has tons of potential!

Please no paid DLC or MTX, it would ruin such a nice concept.

The game is perfect as is, I’m only suggesting it to support a longer term development cycle by adding DLC packs with different additions for people who want to go further.

Maybe make those pay what you want, I didn’t suggest anything about the DLC being paid.

Hi!

I just tried it. I love this game amazingly!

I am also a little saddened that the festival is only open for a few weeks.  If necessary, others are likely to incur server costs as well. I don't know how much load the server part has. Or if you decide to publicate server files, they would be sure to start a private server for it.  Maybe an offline festival with a saveable layout to view the creations in a big place? ... (a re-open is a cool plan too)

sorry if my questions are intrusive. I didn't want it to be. ... I'm just wondering because I love so much the game and the whole implementation.

Thank you so much for this awesome holiday game!

/ off / Are you planning to make something similar for Christmas and Easter?
