This is quite an interesting idea for a game. What led you to decide on making a game with this theme?
You may have noticed from my avatar that I am quite into the Byzantine thing ^_^
Though in the game it primarily is a symbol for isolation and sense of superiority (leading to trouble).
Moreover, the church is local, and maybe I will include some other local areas.
