Khemet = ancient Egypt, literally "The Black Land" of fertile silt and mud along the banks of Nile. By the way, our word "desert" comes from ancient Egyptian Deshret = "The Red Land" of rocky, dusty plains to either side of the Black Land.
Anyway - 24XX Spinx is up on itch, it's a New Kingdom micro-setting with minimally implied magic and a lot of banal random tasks. (The New Kingdom was a pretty placid era.)
