How is not having a pet a health hazard in among us on steam? Also stop hating on the company who made the portal/Half Life franchise and the valve index. Not to mention they are the best game downloading software around. Also there isn't even a reason for pets. They are a cosmetic.
How did you get THAT from what I said? STEAM is a health hazard. Not having a pet is just not having a pet. But locking pets behind the use of an app which has been shown to be a health hazard REPEATEDLY FOR WELL OVER 11 MONTHS is a bad choice.
And I'll stop hating on Valve when they start ACTUALLY FIXING THE MESS THEY MADE which is literally causing MEDICAL HARM to their customers. They've been knowingly causing harm to users and they knowingly made the problem worse at the end of May and beginning of June by starting to actively block the only safe workaround that existed previously.
Instead of telling me how to live my life, why don't YOU stop being a fanboy for a company who's long since stopped being the people you respected a decade ago?
For the past year, Steam has been adversely affecting users with migraines, epilepsy and vertigo. Look it up and you'll find plenty of references. Some people affected have easier workarounds that involve still using the new client but with specific settings, while others have only been able to safely work around the problem by reverting to an older client version, which Valve have blocked from being an option since the end of May and beginning of June.
No, that steam community page is NOT unavailable, I just checked by loading it incognito to ensure it's not using a cached version and it's definitely still there. There are also several others on the topic. Here, have a different one:
