I'm really enjoying this game so far, I love the atmosphere. But I think I'm stuck. It's where you go when you enter the portal by the blood lake. There's an arrow pointing down to the hole but I can't interact with it?

Ah um, sorry to bother again. There's another thing that won't work. It's when you open the gate that requires you to be hopeless. Once open, I can't go in.
