I really loved this! I only got to level 2 (so far), but it definitely feels exactly like an early gameboy game. Graphics are nice (and the kid is appropriately rad). Non-nonsense soundtrack really took me back. Fantastic!

Thank you very much! That's a flaw that nobody else has pointed out yet and I didn't realize. I'll write a note down to tweak that real quick when I have some time.

Pretty nice entry, but I found frustrating that the back movement was so slow: you can't really control the character and it makes certain sections harder than necessary.

Overall, nice game boy feel!
