I noticed a few comments complaining that you cant buy DLCs. When you buy the game for US$5 minimum, you get a FREE Steam key that will A) keep your game up-to-date [no need to come back here to download the latest DRM free version and B) you can buy DLCs from Steam. Alas you can't (not that I am aware of) how to get DLC for DRM Free version.

And when Steam is a legitimate health hazard (and has been for almost a year now), that means I can't use it, so I can't use it to get pets.

So a way to get them outside of Steam would be really useful to me and a number of other users affected by that mess.

What do you mean by "Health Hazard" ?

I mean it's causing medical issues, and Valve have known it's doing so since early Novemeber last year (possibly earlier). Migraines and epilepsy are the primary (and most severe) problems it's triggering, but it's also been causing issues for some people with vertigo.

wow I didn't know that.

How is a website causing medical issues?

It isn't. The Steam client (which is required to install and run and uninstall and update Steam games) is causing medical issues.
