Depth map export is certainly possible, but most likely you still can get better results by using a library for that purpose.
Yeah, that is a great project for depth estimation and is very possible it would improve Dain Interpolation. But is also a lot of work since the model would need to be trained from scratch. Perhaps once I get a decent rig I give it a shot.
