Thanks for the hint. That's what I get for playtesting only on OS X.
You can also use the cursor keys instead of WASD as a directional modifier, and the left mouse button instead of Ctrl (the latter is a tad cumbersome).
I've added the comments locally and check if I'm allowed to upload the fix. Further, I'll add this info to the description.
