The game looks so good! But i'm a little disappointed that I'm not able to access the demo. i tried the zip, and it didn't work. Same as with the install button, but it looks amazing! Hope i can play it soon...

Thank you ! It's weird, have you extracted the files on your desktop? You should just drag and drop it and you can play it without installing it.

The itch.io platform is buggy with our game for now (we are working on correcting it), so you have to download on the website version!

Alright, I'll try that! Thank you.

It doesn't seem to work, perhaps it's just not compatible with windows 10?

Weird, we work on Windows 10 so it should be compatible. Could you show us a screencap of what it shows for you?

Sure!

You could try the to extract whole folder (have you extracted the game folder or just the .exe file?).

If it's not the case, it may be your antivirus stopping you from executing the game. You could try to set up the permissions in your antivirus so the game isn't treated as a virus.

Alright, I'll try that! Thank you.

Quick Question, could you give me a few instructions on how to do that? Because i'm a little confused.

It seems we found a problem similar of yours here: https://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=26509#p324743

Try to redownload it, it may work.

I've ran into a similar issue with Sakura. In my case, the .exe was tripping up Malwarebytes' heuristic and got quarantined, hence it was reported 'missing' by the OS. (It also tripped up another antivirus by apparently "trying to access the registry". This makes me more concerned than Malwarebytes' heuristic, tbh.) Maybe something similar happened here?

You need to open your antivirus softwares and make an exception for the ValentyneStoriesNecromancy.exe file so it won't be quarantined and deleted by your antivirus. It happens quite often for new games since VSN (and a lot of other similar games) are still a "new program" for Windows, and isn't recognized yet as a "safe" program. Do not worry, there isn't any malware in the game !

I already did that and really enjoyed the demo! Thank you for the reply. <3 Sorry if that comment sounded overly paranoid, I did some research later and found out that it's a super common issue with Ren'Py games.
