It's mentioned in the update log that save files have to be started over from the beginning, so all current route progress until now is lost

Which platform are you playing it on?

On Android it's working as intended, you didn't load a save at the start of the game instead of using the new game button did you?

That is very strange to say the least.

Did you COMPLETELY delete the last version you had before you installed this one? Itch is infamous for keeping older versions still in the directory, so it's best that you go and delete them just to be sure (Right-click the game's icon on the Itch app then click on "Open folder in Explorer" and delete the ones that predates the current one, aka any version that isn't 1.104).

Ok so I tried it but now it won't let me install the game! (Also I'm on Android) I've tried a couple of times and it won't even download the older versions

Yeah, older versions aren't kept by Itch naturally (only the author can choose to do so).

Anyways, sounds like you ran at the same issue as me a few days ago, just be sure to have a lot of storage left (maybe around 4gbs?) so that the installer can extract and install the game.

I know this sounds stupid but do try it, phones are weird as hell sometimes.
