The Good:
- Menu screens - it's nice that you created a menu where I can control the volume of music and SFX separately
- Art - good job on creating all of the assets yourself. It definitely makes it more challenging with the limited time period
- Variety - you added a lot of different mechanics and enemies into the game, which allowed you to create many different scenarios
Could Improve:
- Movement / Controls - it was a bit hard to get used to the movement. I also would've preferred if the rewind and play buttons were accessible from my keyboard as well
- Clarity - it was a bit hard to wrap my head around what everything did. The instructions helped a little with it, but I was still confused for a while. I also wasn't sure what could kill me and a lot of the times I didn't know why I've died
- Bugs - the game isn't very polished. Sometimes I would die and win at the same time, sometimes the enemies would randomly die when I rewinded, sometimes I would randomly die as well
Overall:
While the game doesn't really feel complete, you added a lot of features and made everything from scratch, which is already pretty impressive when you're limited to one week. I suggest making the game more explicit with how everything works, and perhaps removing some unnecessary mechanics.
