I have purchased and played it. It's really awesome, It improved the gameplay of Kobo Deluxe and the presentation is sick. Obviously It's not balanced yet as the game gets unplayable in region 3.
I just hope it will be finished someday.

Indeed; the updated mechanics and physics call for everything to be rebalanced, and I also want to introduce some more "designed" maps, along with fixed seed campaigns, to enable competitive play, speedruns and the like. There are also some old issues, such as the maze generator sometimes creating more or less unbeatable bases. These are some of the reason why the refactor/rewrite is needed.
