Thanks for your play and feedback! That is a good feedback, and i definitely agree with it. I have explored several ideas to make the corrupted phantom mechanic more prominent, such as:

  • Having more unique enemies/events that would try to restrict/force the player's movement so that it is no as straightforward for the player to move up & down at the edge
  • I have also thought of spawning corrupted phantom at opposite side of the map, but this was something i thought need to be really polished to prevent it become a frustrating mechanic

Unfortunately while working on other things, time was up and wasn't able to do much for these, but definitely something to look into in the future :)
