I concur that it clearly felt like a mobile game to me - especially as some long clicks might have ended the turn early, I think (which was not documented either) ^^

I didn't pay for the game, so I figured I could at the very least give an honest review to help. And who knows ?  If it improves, I might be tempted to give something - but, for now, I never felt engrossed enough to want to try and push forward to finish a game, I saved around turn 120 and didn't come back.

If you update it, I'll glady give it a try to see how it improved !

Thanks a lot for taking the time to play and, especially, for providing such honest and constructive feedback! I really appreciate it. I'm currently working on version 1.0.6, which will include several improvements based on feedback from players and testers. I'm still actively working on balancing and polishing the game, so feedback like yours is genuinely valuable.

I'm also planning to add a credits section to acknowledge the testers who have taken the time to play the game and share their thoughts. If you're happy to be included, I'd love to add your name to the credits! Just let me know what name or nickname you'd like me to use.

And of course, I'll let you know when 1.0.6 is ready. I'd be very happy if you gave it another try!

I also happened to "game the market", yesterday. Came with my 2000 starting gold and an empty caravel. Left with something like 4500 gold, just by buying then selling food and other things. Because you raise the price each time, but it doesn't drop as quickly, meaning you'll make a profit in the end.

I "raised" food selling price to 44, for instance :)  And honestly, this exploit felt fun, at least for a time. So, I guess that's something more to patch.

As for the credits, you're welcome to include my nickname, "Kzwix", in your list. I'll feel honored ;)
