Whoops, should have reloaded the page before posting. But all the stuff I described didn't change in the v0.9 beta version. Tested on a PAL MD VA4 in 60hz mode (50hz didn't change anything) and on my second MD. I don't know the board revision. It's not a VA4.

which track is affected and does “distorted” mean crackling, buzzing, wrong notes or brief skips?

My MD is hooked up to my amp through the front jack. I usually have the MD's volume at max. Rolling Thunder is too loud in a bunch of tunes which leads to crackling and flutter in sounds like the last chord in track 1 and the piano stuff in track 7. It actually sounds fine if I reduce the volume on the MD. And yes, there is some skipping in Main BGM 1 and its missing some percussion and has also some stuff mapped to the wrong instrumets. There is also a very faint high pitched noise in the background on that track. Here is a short comparison of arcade and MD version: https://filebin.net/477lzc9w4nmyt9bt

There may be an issue with Sega Genesis Model 2 VA0's that don't have the expansion bus terminated with a Sega CD or a 32x Dongle on some consoles when it comes to the newer Ever Drives. It is something a few in the Ever Drive community have known about for several years that was never really addressed by Krikzz. My Model 2 VA0 has a 32X dongle attached, just to work with the Mega Ever Drive Pro and I do not even own a 32X at all. LOL.
