I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed the battles. I also appreciate your point that continuously recommending the optimal move can reduce the satisfaction of making your own tactical decisions.
In a future update, I plan to reduce or disable these recommendations by default, while making them available only as an optional assist for new players.
