Why did you mark this as no generative AI used but you yourself made a reddit post about how you used it for translations?

AI translation is interpretive, not generative.

Word for word from the dev: "Generative AI was used for localizations"

Hey there. First of all thanks for commenting. Everything in the game is created by me. German and english is also written by me, but you are right I translated the texts into chinese, japanese and spanish using an AI. I did this to simply make the game more accessible for more players that do not speak english or german and not to create something generated by a machine. The old cheap ways of translating a game were using Google Translate when AI was not a thing which would mess up in all languages. My goal is not to keep the texts in for long. I am currently hiring translators to localize the texts for me and I am also hoping for help from the community. Sadly itch does not give an option to only say "Translations made with AI assistance", it generalizes on "text & dialog". This feels constricting and I don't want people to think the whole text is generated by a machine where a lot of brain power went into the original texts. But I will upload a build shortly that uses new translations or leave out some.
