I'll be honest I've NEVER made a review for games on itch before, but i genuinely enjoyed where this game is heading since it reminds me of another game on steam I've played and enjoyed before, so I'd love to see this game continue on it's path.

Some things I'd like to see is a seed "map" basically when you start a new save you can see what the map of that seed looks like, not the entire map just a mini map so you can see if you'd enjoy playing on that map or not, i spent a solid 20-30 minutes just rolling seed maps over n over to find the perfect map to do my next run on.

Also I'd love to see some warp stones so villagers can teleport quickly around the kingdom to improve efficiency and speed of constructions when the kingdom become larger, however i think these stones should be limited and hard to make so people have to go out of their way to get them since it massively boosts efficiency.

I remember reading on one of these threads that you planned on updating the skeleton AI and giving them leaders so i won't say much on that, but I'd love to see if these leads try leading the skeletons along different paths so the players have to split up their defenses, in the early game i was able to simply just find a single area and make a couple walls and archer towers and never had to worry about raids.

Hey there!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I’m incredibly glad to hear that you're enjoying the direction of the game.

Regarding your suggestions:

  • Skeleton AI & Raids: You're spot on! My plan is to make them truly smart and adapt with a progression system. I want them to remember their past failures and actually learn from the mistakes of previous raids.
  • Warp Stones: Portals are actually coming to the game very soon, right after I clear out a few bugfixes. I recently added a Crystal Fever disease that affects non-magical villagers. Since warp stones will use crystal energy, emit raw magic, using them will be a double-edged sword—boosting efficiency but risking the health of your workers.
  • Map Preview: This is the trickiest one at the moment. Since the world is procedurally generated, a standard minimap doesn't fully capture the terrain layout. I completely agree that this is a highly requested and much-needed feature, so I need to spend some time thinking about the best way to implement a proper preview.

Thank you again for your support and for sharing your thoughts—it really helps motivate me to keep pushing forward!
