I apologize if you feel that I'm unfairly criticizing you. However, I don't think an identical post needs to be reposted this many times, especially while we are still waiting for the next update. I can understand your frustration of button execution, but it's something like most things has to be practiced. I might not ever be as good as most players in speeding through levels, but I'm doing pretty well so far at getting the Hadouken off. At the same time, I believe the main concern that several people have expressed, speedrunners included, is that shifting to a one-button mechanic would make it too easy for a one-shot kill, something which special moves in X4 aren't. I'm fine continuuing the discussion on what can improve the game the best way, but I'm feeling this conversation isn't a constructive one. If you have anything else to say, then fine. I am going to end my part here, and we'll wait for the next update to see what happens.

One button Hadoken would be utterly WRONG. I'd almost be willing to bet that nearly everyone that's having an issue popping it off reliably is using an XBox controller with the circular, 9-'block' d-pad. I'm thinking the diagonal doesn't read as diagonal all of the time. I haven't had the time to actually TEST that theory, but I have a sh'ton of random controllers I could try. x.x

The Logitech F310 that I use is with the XBox layout. I'm not sure how much the diagonal is accounted for into the programming, but my controller handles it okay either way. In X and X2 the diag works just fine, so it's really about practice and timing. It was not great in the early versions, but it's been pretty consistent in all of my playthroughs since it's been re-tweaked.
