You're welcome to think what you want about me being a casual player, and frankly it's a bit insulting and arrogant. I think I have just as much input and value to offer by the amount of feedback I've already offered on this forum and in the Discord. I might not compete, but it doesn't mean I don't speedrun against myself, to improve my own personal best. I don't plan on competing against the world's best, and that's not my goal. I like replaying the game and improving. I've provided feedback about level design, graphics, bugs that I've encountered, and other ways to improve. Have you read through all my feedback? I've written tons! I've also been on here to help answer other people's questions (if I can answer them) if they have problems or get stuck, which is what I'm trying to do for you.

The reason we've complained against you is not because of differing opinions, but because how frequently you ask for your request. It comes off as impatient and begging, and is not likely to work in your favor by doing that. Any other points to bring up is fine, but as long as you also don't consistently repeat the same posts. Also you have yet to answer my questions regarding your concerns about stairs. If you're going to be a part of this chat, then it would be nice to have friendly discussions instead of saying I'm not qualified to give feedback. Of course I do! Everyone does! So please, I say this with all respect and kindness, STOP IT!

And FYI, the other recent world record holder, who's on the Discord, is in favor of the traditional input. So consider the rest of Speedrunning community and how a change might impact or create potential conflict. Again, for me, while just a casual runner, a shortcut feels like a huge undoing to all the practice I (and the community at whole) have put in to perfecting the Hadouken and Shoryuken. But to be honest, that's not what truly matters on here. Let's have a friendly discussion and community, even if we disagree.

One extra thing about controllers. If players are using an SNES style controller, then an extra button option for Hadouken is not a user-friendly situation, as there are only two shoulder buttons. That would mean it would have to be doubled-up on the Special move (which I'm not entirely against). That is not my situation though, as I'm on a Logitech (XBox config). I'm just stating this because other players may be using controllers with a simpler layout. That's all. Nothing personal.
