Unfortunately, I have no means to test it on a Deck and I'm currently without a PC to try to find the problem.
Really sorry about that. I'm on a kind of a messy money situation right now but want to address the problems with the game as soon as I can.
If anything, most of the events with the Subject 4 are completely optional, though you have to talk to them one time near the end of the game.
No need to apologize! I'm gonna try different proton settings and hope that fixes it.
I think the aesthetics of your game are remarkable and the writing is engaging. I can't say much about the story so far obviously. I feel the hand crafted style and RPG maker oddities really add to it.
The only criticism I have so far is the map that flashes every time you change rooms. It gets a bit annoying when you're just trying to figure out a puzzle
