Thank you for the feedback. In your head you think that this is a brilliant idea but self-bias. Getting feedback helps ground me and focus me.
I struggled with whether or not to add health bars above the enemies. this feedback is the nudge I need to make a decision.
I had to outsource the art. My initial sprites were awful! The trees were all the idea of the artist I worked with. I was not for them at first, but she insisted and after some time, they really grew on me. The artists has helped me with the sprites up to the first boss fight, which is the demo that is playable on itch. I am actually trying to raise funds to complete the art update for the game, and add music and sound effects.
Look out for devlogs on updates that will be made based the feedback.
