To answer your question: nope, interacting with the box is the official end of the game. But there is a lot of hidden lore left to piece together. The title 'redstring' is a hint to connect the dots between all 4 tapes and to find out what the red string is .There are quite a lot of easter eggs to the actual truth of the world too hidden here and there. Also, a little tip for the black box: One of the things you found inside the black box is the two paper clipping s.those two paper clipping that seem totally disconnected are actually verses from the Book of Enoch.
