I haven't managed to get past the third screen; I don't know if there's something special I need to do—the bubble always pops!!!

Have you blown out the candle? You need to leave the bubble at the start and move close, facing the candle then blow. There are quite a few other objects to interact with later on. If you get stuck there are also some cheat keys!

I've fixed the issue and uploaded a new version, tested in RetroVirtualMachine. Thanks for your feedback. I tested it in multiple emulators and didn't have this issue so you've spotted something I wouldn't have seen!
